SPIRULINA ALGAE MEETS CULINARY TRADITION
To consume spirulina algae integrating it into our daily diet is very simple and interesting thanks to the different possibilities of combining different ingredients. Spirulina algae is perfectly suited to be integrated into traditional doughs of bread, focaccia, pasta but also biscuits. Just add the seaweed to the flour and proceed according to the usual recipe.
Spirulina algae can also be combined with fruit juices, yoghurt, vegetable juices or for the preparation of energy drinks for athletes. It is also very versatile for the preparation of pesto, curry, soups, sauces, vegetable or legume dishes and salads.
The addition of Spirulina in foods allows you to reduce or even eliminate the use of salt. In addition to being an ingredient in dishes, it can be used as a natural dye, green or blue, especially in desserts, to replace artificial dyes.
