FOOD CHAIN - PRODUCTION OF 100% PURE SPIRULINA SEAWEED
SPIRULINA MICROALGAE PRODUCTION PLANT
The thermal energy produced by the vegetable oil plant is used for the production and processing of SPIRULINA microalgae.
The plant consists of:
- Heated greenhouses for the cultivation of SPIRULINA microalgae, which require an internal microclimate between 25/35 ° C.
- Low temperature algae processing and drying unit to keep the organoleptic properties of the product intact.
The energy and food supply chain have been designed to optimize the production of Spirulina in a circular economy perspective, with energy savings and consequent low environmental impact.
